Day - 1
/
Yangon
Arrive Yangon international airport, meet the local guide.
Transfer to hotel. After ward, guide will accompany for
sightseeing of reclining Buddha (Chauk Htat Gyi) which is of
70m stretch. Visit down town area of Yangon city and pay
homage to Shwe Dagon pagoda, the golden dome rise 98m. Stay
overnight in Yangon.
Day - 2
/
Yangon- Bago- Yangon
In the early morning, embark on the road trip of 80 km to Bago,
an ancient city of Mon Kingdom, which was founded in 573 AD.
Stop at Bago Market to stroll around the lively market streets
to find local products and witness the simple everyday lives
of the area. Take an excursion to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, an
archeological land mark almost as old as Shwedagon Pagoda,
built in Mon style. visit to Shwethalyaung Pagoda, one of the
biggest reclining Buddha ../images. Then proceed to Kyaikpun
Pagoda, with the significance of four dominantly high Buddha
../images facing the cardinal points. On the way back, stop at
British War Cemetery from Second World War. Return to Yangon.
Stay over night in Yangon.
Day - 3
/
Yangon-ThanLyin-Yangon
In the early morning, embark on the road trip of 45 minutes
drive to Thanlyin (Syriam) once the centre of foreign trade
for lower Myanmar. In 16th century Thanlyin was home to
trading port Portuguese, Dutch, French and British merchants.
Stop at Kyauktan Pagoda, set on a tiny island in the middle
stream of Yangon River. Explore the lively local markets. Then
visit to Kyaikhauk Pagoda and return to Yangon for Lunch. Afer
lunch, visit Bogyoke (Scott) Market and transfer to airport
for departure. |
