Destinaiton: Yangon - Sittway - Mrauk U - Chin Villag - Sittwe - Yangon

Day 1 Yangon-Sittway

tour11Transfer to the airport from the hotel for the flight to Sittway. The flying time will be approximately one hour. Transfer from the airport takes ten minutes to the jetty, and is accompanied by the guide. Start your pleasant boat trip by riding on the chattered boat along the Kalatan River. The rive rakhine trip lasts six or seven hours for seventy-two kilometers (45 ml). Arrive at MraukOo’s jetty, transfer by car which is accompanied by the guide to your hotel, and check in to your hotel.

Day 2 Mrauk U-Chin Village

tour13After breakfast, start one-hour trip by car to the village of the Chin people who wear the tattoo on their face. The women especially believe that their beautiful faces are incomplete without the abstract lines of tattoo. The ethnic group is talented in weaving and making handicraft. Their necklace is a catch for eyes and their beverage called Kaung Yee is ubiquitous in every celebration. Dinner in the village and you spend overnight in the monastery of the village.

Day 3 Chin village-Mrauk U

tour10After breakfast, go back to Mrauk U by boat, which is a two hours’ boat ride along the Lay Myo River. After you arrive back at the boat place in Mrauk U, go to a local restaurant by car for lunch. Siesta is at the hotel until late afternoon. From late afternoon, start your sightseeing in Mrauk U. The sightseeing begins by visiting the Shitthaung Pagoda with 80,000 images of Buddha; The HtokkanThein or the ordination hall; Visit a village called Shakkhama, the village of Thet people. The ladies in the village wear very big ear rings. Without their ear rings, the ear lobes look like a big rubber ring. The sightseeing ends at Harretany Hill for the sunset. Overnight in Mrauk U.

Day 4 Marauk U-Sittwe

tour12Your sightseeing begins right after your breakfast at the hotel. First visit the Letkaukzey Monastery where there are many ancient images of Buddha. You return to Sittwe by boat ride again along the Kalatan River. This time will be the entire trip in broad day light. Somewhere make a trip at the tribal village of the Mro tribe. Observe the unique life style of the Mro tribe like their weavings, and the school for their children. Lunch is served onboard. On arrival at Sittwe, you are transferred to your hotel accompanied by your guide. Check in to your hotel and short break before visiting the Rakhine National Museum. Visit the down town area and visit the Mahakuthala monastery which is famous for its antique collection. Finally, visit the view point for the sunset. Overnight in Sittwe.

Day 5 Sittwe-Yangon

After breakfast, visit the fish market of Sittwe. You will see the people rush to get their fish. It is the best way to observe their everyday life. As the time permits, visit the one hundred year old Buddha image with golden face in the Payagyi Temple. Lunch is at local restaurant. Take the afternoon flight back to Yangon.
